Studio Tissue8 accepts the following forms of payment: credit card & cash. Checks are not accepted.

Covid-19/when noted in class/service description

Vaccine varication required upon entry to Studio Tissue8. Clients must keep masks on for the duration of the appointment, including photographs. One guest may accompany the client meeting the same requirements.

 

Class/Event Registration Procedure

We highly encourage registration for all classes and events unless otherwise clearly stated. Simply use the Eventbrite link (if provided) or the bookings feature on my website to register and pay in full.  If necessary, please review the supply list detailing items for which you are responsible for purchasing and bringing to class/event (when supplies are not provided). No babies, children or additional adults are permitted to accompany attendees to classes/events.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Fitting appointments are confirmed with a $140 consultation fee, which will be applied to the final invoice.  We kindly ask clients to cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance of an appointment to receive a refund for the consultation fee. Otherwise paid fee is forfeit.

Refunds for class/events are available when the customer cancels 7 days before the first day of class/event.  Cancellations made after that time will receive a Studio Tissue8 credit, less a $5 handling fee. Credits are non-transferable and can only be used for the same customer within 60 days of issue date. Bookings made within 7 days are non-refundable. For cancellations call 202-241-5060.

Fittings

All fitting fees are non-refundable. Cancellations will result in forfeit of fees. For cancellations please call 202-241-5060.

Inclement Weather Policy

In the event of cancellations due to inclement weather I will send out an email regarding the effected classes/events. Please ensure that I have accurate contact info on file for you, including home/work email and cell phone/home numbers. Cancelled classes will be re-scheduled within 45 days. If you are unable to attend on the new date, you will be issued a Studio Tissue8 class credit to be used within 90 days of original purchase date.

 

Gift Certificates

Want to share the gift of Studio Tissue8? Gift Certificates may be purchased for any service, class or event. All gift certificates must be redeemed w/in 60 days of purchase date. Refunds are not available for gift certificates.

 

Sewing Machine Rental Policy

Sewing machine rental is available for lesson time only. The fee is $50/3 session use due at first session.
